I would call him a great composer, some of his compositions are brilliant. I wouldn't call him a good singer at all. As a guru he seems to be better than what he was last year when he blindly promoted Vineet which in turn proved somewhat damaging for him in terms of growth as a singer.

Amazing composer- unbelievable compositions with a broad body of work

good singer -good for a particular type of song, but has gone overboard in using his voice for every song- can get irritating

mediocre guru- needs to be more emotionally stable and refrain from using marketing tactics beyond singing ability. unbearable when he goes down his love track. I wish and pray he will STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
