Remember Kapil asked Mauli, how she performed that day and she was very upfront about it

Everyone on the judging panel was unanimous that it wasnt upto the mark, Raja was just trying to play cute then by saying he didnt realize he made mistakes

One improves only if one learns from their mistakes

I would give kudo's to all the judges for atleast performing their duties as judges/mentors and earning their paychecks

I wish they would be consistent with their criticism though, perhaps they knew Raja was safe anyway, so they just wanted to send a wake-up call to him

They certainly could have been diplomatic the way they were with Mussarat😆, everyone talked how great his Antara was😉, what about the Mukhda😆, perhaps they did not want to push Mussarat over the cliff😉, but no-one credits one for that kind of little stuff😆

It's true that song did not match Raja's voice but he was not totally out of sur the way Himesh alleged,19-20 sab ka hota hain. Even Aneek was not perfect this time, did Himesh Question him or said anyting? Come on, Raja was HR's target. Why should Raja admit if he himself is not sure? He just did the right thing by not accepting.

What about Mussarat? He almost killed the song(sur up-down was everywhere) except the last alap saved him. Did HR question him?

sareg,

I think in this show we have already heard that Music director hi singer ko banata hai.

Even Bappi da said that Kishore kumar while recording always asked him if he sang oK or not.

A singer may not know if he was in sur or not.If you watch Raja's song again it was not that bad.

Raja rightly said if he knew so much about sur and taal he would not have been contesting here.

Actually Himesh was exaggerating.

When Mussarat sang badly he defended him by saying NFAK cant sing comedy song.

When Aneek sings badly he says bacha hai bahut mehnat karta hai isko bachalo.

Dont you feel that Himesh is speaking with two mouths?

no one is against criticizing ...it is about bashing!...do you really think Mauli's Swadesh and Raja's Pardesi were comparable?.....Himesh was trying to act smart by making him say that he sang bad.... He is a politician ..He questioned his integrity ..I mean look at who is saying this!-someone who has left no stone unturned in promoting fake stories....whos own behavior on this show is so questionable

If Raja can get this treatment for an average performance I wonder what treatment should have been given to some other performances which i'll not point out here.....

Also duty of the judges is to be fair to everyone -I would hv agreed on this argument if ID had not given 10 to Aneek and BL had not mentioned Mauli while giving points to Raja....

HR's wrath came out very clear, Raja is his main obstruction in this competetion. Only a fool can see otherwise. He is such a foxy person to cover up immediately he started praising and supporting Raja. Though I love Aneek's singing(poor chap!), I would love to see Raja as the winner.

Oh it was a clear case of wrath and insecurity at HR's end......

he needs to learn that the world does not go around his words.....

And yes, mentors are there to give feedback on the contestants performance...

But there is one things giving them feedback...and another thing when you start questioning the persons character........

maybe HR can learn few things from Shekhar......

I agree with u totally on these points, tindrum!!

I have heard some really bad performances on that stage before, much worse than the Pardesi one by Raja..a couple of them being 'Taal se Taal' and the Independence theme song by Mauli, and 'Signal' by Mussarat among the recent ones which I don't mind pointing out..but none of the mentors have ever been so harsh with any of them before..

Also, like I've said before, its as if HR and ID have some kind of understanding..ID acts like a puppet and agrees to whatever HR says, and always throws away 10's and praises to Rock contestants..

I also noticed Bappi mentioning Mauli when giving his opinion on Raja's singing..it was so clear and obvious that he was taking out his spite and frustration on Mauli's exit..which is very unprofessional on his part, and quite unfair to the other contestants..

You made a very good point here S....I couldn't agree more.

Just hope that all these people playing games here know that the audience is no fool.

I think henceforth HR will not get any opportunity to bash Raja again. VS will definitely go back to the drawing board and formulate a strategy to counter the threats posed by HR's all out cunning war to highlight the drawbacks in rival contestants at the slightest opportunity. VS needs to rethink their dharmaraj image if they want their gharana to win.
