Mr Bappi was expecting Sum to go

Ok so his only two contestants are at the bottom. Why didn't he walk out then? He obviously expected Sum to go and he would've said the same old ghisa pita rubbish....Hum tumhari saath hai Sumedha,best of luck. As long as Mauli was with him, he had nothing to worry about. But wait...its his Shakira who's out. I mean how obvious and degrading can it get for poor Sumedha. Kudos to Mauli who accepted the elimination with grace but Bappi...how prejudice can one get?!😕

Yup I mention this in another post as well there is no other explanation. He spoke only on quiting when they say mouli is out n she was talking. N his quote without Mouli no reason he there n he quit. Otherwise y not he speak n say its injust to see either go

this is a great platform.. you're never alone and blabla.
i've nothing against Mauli.
never had something against her.
i always was looking forward to see her performence.
but why is Bappida doing such things..
but one thing is for sure, the whole world is looking at these SRGMP contestants,
and they never let talent go like this.

i'm sure Harpreet is also going to make it far.

sumedha aunty felt heart breaking , rest felt kicking...

todays show is gonna reach for good TRP ...but i feel this is simply done to bring her in final 3

I'm sure he would have done the same if it was Sumedha. It's natural for a mentor to get attached to his contestants, if Sumedha had been voted out, he would have done the same, guaranteed. Why wouldn't he? I mean, they are the last two contestants in his gharana.

Anyway, every judge/mentor at one point stages a walk out, as they have in II, and last season's SRGMP. It's just a stunt to add more drama and spice to the show. He'll be back next episode, dont worry, I'm sure Sumedha knows that too.

Yeah, it was really hard on poor Sumedha. Mauli was quite dignified, everything was going fine, I don't see why suddenly Bappida had to make such a scene!

They should take him at his word and let him quit. Sumedha can go to VS gharana, since they have only one contestant left. Then Bappida can check the shows TRPs at home and watch it on TV. Sumedha bhi bach jayegi, aur audience bhi! 😆

If he would have done the same for Sumedha he should have announced his decision then and there when the two of them were in danger zone. It was obvious one of them would have to leave. 😕

About the other walk-outs-- in the other shows, there are judges, not mentors. Here the mentors are directly responsible for the contestants. Last season ID didn't walk-out when Nihira was eliminated. He was angry and upset and all of that, but he still had Debojit left and he stayed for him, even though Nihira was always his favourite, not Debojit. He walked out afterwards when he thought Debojit was being unfairly treated. So he did not walk-out choosing Nihira over Debojit. Yesterday Bappida abandoned one of his contestants in favour of the other. That is a totally different, and highly unfair thing!😡 😡 😡

As for worrying that he won't come back, I'm only worrying that he WILL come back. I want Sumedha to go to someone else's gharana and Bappida to go away, after the way he has treated her, he shouldn't come back!😡

divya_p, if Bappi genuinely treated Sum and Mauli equal he would have walked out when it was announced that both were in the bottom 2. But he left it till Mauli was eliminated. Doesn't that show he was prepared for Sumedha's exit? 😕

xactly what i thought...he couldn't get meaner than dis...poor Sumedha ...wat she must have felt wen Bappida sed dat he'll never know...he acted as if he WANTED Sumedha 2 go,out of the 2..it was horrible...i've suddenly lost all the respect i had for Bappida as a mentor....
