Anu Malik and Pritam aren't the only guilty parties - they're just more guilty than the rest - and probably more blatant about it!

I'm from U.S too
so I have most likely heard more American music just as zapman
and I think in a sense they copy
however they might not be doing it pruposely
We dont know the truth for sure so we shouldn't make such comments unless we know for sure
but since it is opinions
then YES they definiltly seem like the copy a lot of the music
FORGET MUSIC a LOT of FILM PRODUCERS COPY MOVIES AS WELL
AND SOMETIMES IT HURTS TOO SEE THEM COPYING T ENRAGES ME BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO COPY EVEN OF THEY DO HAVE THE RIGHT ITS LIKE HAVEN'T YOU HEARD OF ORIGINALITY

No, they only copy Korean and Japanese horror movies on a regular basis. 😛

^ agreed with T. also the koreans and americans seem to be copying a lot of french and russian films these days.

They may not be copying Indian music but they have been following Indian Yoga and other things...

yes, they copy on a regular basis and fail to give due credit to the original. IMHO, western musicians would love this bollywood-exposure given the sense of exotic style bollywood brings along with a billion fans..
Being inspired by something is another story.
However, Anu and Pritam weren't the first ones to steal and nor will be the last ones. Plagiarism is rampant and copyright violation is not posing a huge threat to their pockets and career at this point.
I concur with Theatre about AR's attempted plagiarism in some instances.
