A cute grey persian Nikki's Saturday night turned into a nightmare

A persian cat Nikki turned into a lunatic after being subjected to listen to a contestant on an Indian reality show SaReGaMaPa on a weekly basis. Eyewitnesses say the cat used to attack cushions and remote controls everytime Mauli Dave a contestant on the show used to sing. This morning the cat was admitted to the mental ward of Fox River cat mental hospital.

"She was a friendly cat, well behaved and stable... Few weeks ago she started having fits where she would jump all over our living room and started moaning and attacking our remote controls. We thought she was just having a bad fur day but then this became a weekly routine. We then realized that whenever we watching the show and this contestant sang, Nikki used to get afraid and go bizerk... I miss my cat.. The whole family is praying for her and we hope to see her back in our house soon", Nikki's owner Megan was quoted as saying..

Psychiatrist John Miller says the treatment is going very well. The cat was made to listen to good music and hypnotherapy is used to cure the mental illness. "I listened to a few performances of the said singer in question and the singing could make any human being lose their sanity..and cats are hyper sensitive" John said

Megan advised she had no intention of suing the Zee Network for any damages. "We just want the best for Nikki and we want her back with us safe and sound, we don't care for damages"..
