that is totally wrong i dont vote for her because she is poor i vote for her because her voice has something unique and she is a really good singer...whoever votes for her for sympathy damn it go and relisten to her voice, she sings really good...OPEN YOUR EARS AND VOTE FOR WHOEVER YOU WANT NOT OUT OF SYMPATHY😡...she cant live off of sympathy she needs people to recognize that she has a wonderful voice and that her voice can make up for her loss

umm i never said its his fault. said its a plus point and he has that along with being a good singer. you are getting it all wrong.

You know,for starters,I do not consider her to be THAT ace a singer... 😕 Lately and very strangely,I've come to like Sumedha's voice more than Poonam's😕...I dunno if its just me,be I feel there is a slight,very very very very very slight nasal twang to her singing 😕 I bet it's just me!

There's alot to be said for revealing the family history and the social/economical plight..Trust Ismail and Himesh to employ every trick in the book to garner votes for their contestants 🤢

I'm sorry.. seriously not trying to be rude, but the comment that I italicized and underlined made me laugh.. 😆 My friend asked me to vote for Poonam on her behalf, I thought that was clear, lol. She was too lazy to vote herself, so she basically asked me to be her hands.

And you are missing the point, people. I'm saying that she didn't have to mention her personal life.. and I understand not everyone gives her sympathy votes. These are the two making two points here:

• She didn't have to say the whole "my mom's sick" "I'm poor" thing, she chose to herself... and who wouldn't feel bad for her because of that? I sure did.. but that doesn't mean I should vote for her for that sole reason.

• Secondly, I do understand that not EVERYONE gives her sympathy votes. But, thinking logically, who wouldn't feel bad for her? There has to be someone who votes for that reason. I've seen it happen right before my eyes...

And, please, comment with logical answers.. not answers that make no sense and don't prove any point... I'm not saying anyone in particular did this.. but, you have to back your "Poonam sings well.. nobody votes out of sympathy.. ETC." with reasons, otherwise what good can this discussion do?

Many contestants in the show have gone to their home during this process- she did too. All of them told us something about where they live and their parents gave little words too. If that's her fate- she cant do anything about it. They showed what was real...wasnt exactly her choice.

I agree this will gain her sympathy votes but I dont think she did it on purpose.

I agree with you. Poonam is a good singer, but she is getting votes for her being poor. When I read today's update, Himesh told her people still remember her sick mother and her poor background.

But her added-on story about how her mom and her had to share a roti once... that was her choice. I agree with you, author. 👏
