After Indian Idol now it's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa's turn to have a love triangle on the show. In Saturday's episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa when Amanat performed the song Parda Hain from the film Amar Akbar Anthony, all the celebrity judges started teasing him.
And it wasn't just Amanat who was at the receiving end that evening – Himesh Reshammiya's student Aneek was also teased by everyone about his love triangle. The judges let it out that the object of Aneek and Amanat's affection is a student from Bappida's Josh gharana.
But Amanat, from Ismail Darbar's Yalgaar gharana, cleared the air for us. "We are doing it for our singing, which is giving us boost and that dard in our singing. Sumedha is not involved in this matter. There is nothing like that but we are just enjoying it," confesses Amanat.
Even when Amanat was talking on the phone Aneek came in between and told us: "Amanat is lying and there is nothing like this. There is no such story and I have not proposed anyone."
He says that all this is thanks to Himesh Reshammiya who many will remember had used a similar tactic last season with his student Vinit. "All this happened because of Himeshji. He always pulls my leg! The story that we will maintain is that first of all Aneek proposed to the girl from Bappida's gharana, but she refused that proposal. So I tried my luck and she said yes to me," says Amanat, "But the problem is that she is not making it clear that is it dostiwala pyaar or the other one! Bappida is more than happy to hear it. We do not want to reveal her name right now. If we will reach the finals then we will reveal it. The involvement is 50% from both the side."
Two years back Vineet, who was from Himesh's gharana, had the same story during the show and although he did not win the title he became very popular in the show because of his supposed affair.
