hahaha you're so funny. actually if you've ever heard a british person sing their accent doesn't carry through when they sing. You can barely hear it. But go ahead and keep bashing, she's still getting votes and the most international votes. i think the more u bash the more votes she gets so please do continue! ๐Ÿ˜‰

How is this an appeal? I'm not asking anyone to vote for her. I just find it sad that people say rude things about someone they don't even know. Just please be respectful to her and her family. There is no need to bring her mom into this. Are you guys really that bored? That you find ways to make fun of someone you don't know. That's pretty sad.

good for u and your folks ๐Ÿ˜Š .

For most of us, I suppose we vote and judge for talent not dancing ability and speaking good Indian languages.

First of all, she was born in India. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Raised there for a few years. She has been singing garba songs for so many years. She and her family come every year for Garba. I have seen her and talked to her before. But still I don't like her. You may ask why? Well, I will tell you the reason. My opinion is that she overrated. Coming from America, it seems to me Mauli dresses and acts like she in in some American singing competition. To me, personally, I don't believe showing nakra is cool. Also, she doesn't sing well. She sings every song like an item number and she has no voice modulation, in my opinion.
This is the search for the best singer, not if some contestant speaks indian languages well, or can dance.

And FYI lots of people dance and sing and speak different languages. ๐Ÿ˜‰

My opinion. Each is entitled to their own.
๐Ÿ˜Š

Peace.

Your comments are just so right. My family watches the show for Mauli. She having grown up in the US, it is especially amazing that she can speak the Indian languages so well, knows so many Hindi songs, dances well, has the right expressions for each song and sings very well. We would buy her CD and certainly go so see her perform. That she is a natural, quite friendly and unpretentious and gets along with others on the contest are her other strengths.

It is sad to see some folks go after her when they could simply vote for their own favorite instead. After all, that is the show. Why adopt a negative mindset towards a person who is doing so well and has found balance, barely out of her teens? No one has the right to be disrespectful towards her or any other who has not hurt you in any way. By so doing, you earn bad karma.

please read the post carefully, no one is bashing here, the person who started the topic gave reasons on why its appealing, thats why the members are responding to it, how else you want us to be respectful, we are just calling a spade a spade and now you dont have any reasons for amanat, richa etc and you put the blame on the so called bashers and before i lose my patience here, i will reiterate the same thing to the poster, its not a big deal.
