Hello Friends,
It is time for yet another Retro Caf show. This week we have a special theme . Any guess, what the theme is ?
This week we celebrate the Independence Day of India and Pakistan. So, this week's Retro Caf will celebrate freedom and patriotisms and pay homage to our fallen heroes who have sacrificed their lives to give us a better and secure life . This week we are going to have a India and Pakistan patiotic songs special episode.
(**Thanks to mermaid _QT for the still creations and Kimi_Dost for the animations**]
We have been gifted some memorable soul stirring patriotic songs to remember the freedom struggle, to pay tribute to our valiant soldiers who protect us with all their might.
The patriotic songs tell us the tales and remind us of those great souls who pioneered theIndependencemovement.Who sacrificed their lives so that we could live with our heads held high. With these songs, we try to remember their sacrifices with reverence and gratitude, not for their religious, political inclinations, language, caste and creed , but for the 90-year saga of sacrifices to realise the singular and noble vision of heralding a British Free rule.
While we sleep peacefully , our defence personnel- they struggle through hardships and obstacles to maintain the peace. The free air that we breathe, the safety that we take for granted is their gift to us. Silently day after day they carry on with their duties to ensure a better future for us.While they protect the sons of the country, many a mother of these valiant soldiers lose their sons in the line of duty. Patriotic songs take us back to these struggles and tell us the tales of these soldiers and their sacrifices.
"Aye mere vatan ke logon, zara aankh mein bhar lo paani
Jo shahid huye hain unki zarra yaad karo qurbani…."
There is not one person around the world who will not be moved by the lyrics and the impact of this song. For this song does not talk of just India, it replects the sentimments of every living member of every country and is a tribute to all defence personnel around the world who have protected the borders.
This week we will play some heart wrenching patriotic songs of India and Pakistan .
So dear friends, its your opportunity to come and pay tribute to your country. Feel proud to be an Indian/Pakistani.
