Just a thought - patriotic song theme - Page 2

if they decide to sing the patriotic songs, then in that case, i highly doubt that a pakistani will vote for an indian either. and since this show is being made in india, with perhaps the majority of the voters beings indians, then the pakistanis are at a disadvantage. let's not get political over which nation is sponsoring terrorism because the same can be said about india. maybe a good idea would be to have kind of a switch- they shouldn't sing patriotic songs, but maybe the indians should sing songs sung by pakistanis and the pakistanis should sing songs sung by indians.

There are many family who has lost son,father, husbond,and brother because pakistan sponcer terrorism in India.and still sponcering terrorism in india

Special Independence Day celebrations at Wagah Border

No gun shots this Independence Day at Wagah border. Instead, celebrating the 60 years of Independence through the language of music, across the borders, promises to give new direction to the relationship the two neighbours share.

Musicians from both the countries will be lending their voice for this programme. Artists like A.R.Rahman, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Aatif Aslam and Shafqat Ali would be performing from 11 pm on August 14 to 1 am on August 15. The show will be telecasted in the both the countries for people across the borders to witness and realize the reason behind an endeavour put by Rakesh Gupta, Secretary of NGO Routes 2 Roots to bring harmony between the two countries.

Bollywood stars, Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla and former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akhtar and Pakistani Designer Shaiyanne Malik will also be present to host the event.

Independence Day seems to be celebrated in true spirits…..Cheers to that!!! 😛 😛

Guys we need i mean Indian and Pakistanis to remember that we got our independence from the cruel brits. our enemy was brits not india or pakistan and there is nothing wrong celebrating for brothers. One thing more to remember that "ko hey noor" diamonds belongs to India and needs to be returned to India by the mother of all thieves. "Britishers". So on this occasion we should get togother as demand Brits to return our diamond.

I personally think we all just need to move on, digging up past is not going to help any one..If Brithish were evil enough to take Kohinoor and other stuff from us .. then we were also dumb enough to fight amongst one another and let others take advantages ...Plus now so many indians live in Britain, so we should just forget everything ...Keep Peace with everyone!😃

I have been thinking abt this the DAY the show was aired with intl singers..would be fun to see pakis back home flip out if they sing indian based patriotic songs.. 😆 😆 😆
