The competition has become a scripted. Joy's assam is not going to make a difference. The producers have basically decided to play out the drama so do not expect joy to be making into the top five simply because amanat, mussarat, raja and aneek are fan favorites. These four have dedicated fans, specifically amanat, mussarat and raja who bring the important foreign vote ($$$). The more votes garnered = $$$ for zee tv. There is too much riding on these four so zee will not touch any of them.

If you notice, every segment with joy has the same theme: promoting assam. ITs a ploy used by the cunning producers: Assam will definitely provide a huge amount of votes to joy, and this will result in money. Each time himesh or ID say "assam is with you" their basically requesting assam to keep voting/pay up.

And for arguments sake, assam is nothing compared to the global votes which amanat, mussarat and raja take in. Joy only appeals to on region of india, while the other three appeal on a global scale.

i definitely agree with subclavian110... its all a ploy to generate more income for zee tv... and joy pulling out a great performance is as true as mouli being ousted anytime soon.... joy is serious crap... i don't get it why is he still in despite his horrible performances before... nirupama was so much better and she's ousted... i really hope he vamooshes by next week.... and HR is left only with one singer... either mussarat or aneek...

As far as talent is concern....I don't see Joy in top 4 but ultimately what matters is vote...so can't say 😕

Talent is not always a driving force behind these contests. The early
ousters of Raktima and Sharib vs the longevity of Rajeev and Paresh not
to mention the victory of Debo over Nihira and Hemachandra -- all speak
to the defects in the process.

I hope that the following people do well:
Amanat
Aneek
Raja
Poonam
Sumedha

I like Harpreet too but his lack of confidence on stage will do him in.

I don't think that Junaid's good looks will save him.

Mussarat does not even have the looks but he does have HR hyping him
so he might last a while.

The rest are not that great.

I am guessing by past indications that Mauli will survive for some time
but then again Twinkle had a fast furious fall.

I would also like to say that thsi contest is a chance for exposure and that
good singers do get some breaks regardless of the SMS results. Case in
point Hemachandra and Nihira. I think that Aneek may get some good
work as well as Amanat and maybe Raja. Girls/women always seem to
have a harder time breaking through. I thought that Himani and Twinke
would be doing much more by now!
