US Viewers- for uncut telecast PLEASE !! - Page 2

Thanks Namita for taking this challenge on everybody's behalf. Yes, we want to see the full version as shown in India. We are paying the full amount, we are not being charged discounts for cut versions. In last weekend's episodes, some of the singing was cut too. Just because our voting doesn't count, doesn't mean we get to see reduced versions of programmes. Besides, now I believe on-line voting has started, but nobody should vote unless this problem has been solved and we get to see full programes and make an informed choice.

I FULLY agree...we NRI's should not vote (specially the SMS-ing) to increase Zee's revenues until they do their job. I actually said the same thing in my feedback on their site.

Yes, it's really annoying not getting to see the full version, i feel this leaves the viewers perplexed. It's only fair that we get to see the same show that is telecasted in India.

How are u? I have already signed the petition started by Zahida on Orkut. I believe this is the same one. I just left feedback for Zee TV usa also. Hope they fix the problem so that we can watch the entire episode for the rest of the season.

Hi! Everyone,

I just off the phone with Mr. Jaideep at Zee USA. I presented our "case" and told him about the petition as well as members leaving feedback. He agreed he had seen the feedback (on Zee USA) and was trying to do his BEST!!! I gave him MANY reasons why we deserve to see the FULL telecast (including the fact that India telecast episodes are available on the net). I asked him for his e-mail address to send him the link for the petition as well as comments from india-forum members, to which he said I neednt do that, he was convinced. I also told him that if he wanted viewers in the USA to vote, they owe us the FULL telecast. I think that part got thro to him.

He said he is trying his best to fulfill our request, though he is not sure how SOON he can do it. That was the point when I told him that if he was interested in ppl voting he should do it soon. Let's see what happens and when. But I think I managed to convince him about the "severity" of the sitn. for Zee USA and that it was for their own good, to which he actually agreed!!!

Let's hope for the best ... but ...

Hello. Thanks for letting me know about the originator of the petition. Please let Zahida know that I did not know who started it, and assumed that they would not mind my using it in this way. Give her my THANKS!! I am planning to e-mail that link to Zee USA anyway (even though they seemed convinced without it).
