Chitra, Do you know an actor Tom Alter? He used to come in serials and movies. He is a Brit but speaks Hindi very well😊. There are many westerners who make India their home and pick up Hindi very well.

It is only natural for someone who lived in US for so long and go to school along with Americans to pick up that accent. Her Hindi is very good though and no accent.

I have never been to India.. will go sooon but I would say I have Indian culture and Indian sankar.. 😃.. i picked it up from my parents and movies.. 😳..

..When i went to Louisana & Mississippi .. i noticed people had a strong southern accent.. there were some Texans there.. i picked em out ..😆.. Anyways.. but i dont think my Punjabi or Hindi have accents.. although not knowing some or well in my casae a lot of words is a different thing altogether..

no offense but i dont like mauli's accent at all. I like the northern accent like new yorkern or michiganian. but i hate southern texas accent. maybe because i'm from the north but still southern accent is like gettoish and i hate that

hey maya, in university we had two profs for hindi class and both of them were white. it was so hilarious two white guys teaching a bunch of brown ppl how to read, write and speak their mother tongue. 😆
