Anchor Aaditya Narayan with participants in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa
It seems that conjunctivitis has taken the toll on Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007. More than 30 per cent of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa team has sore eyes. It has become a huge impediment for the show and the participants are shootings with dark glasses on.
It was Rumi, a participant, who was first attacked by the virus. She got eliminated, but she left behind the virus and now the disease has spread all over. Now, seven participants and anchor Aaditya Narayan, a few unit members including the entire make-up team has got infected.
Payaol Patel, creative head of the show said, "It is really funny to see people working with dark glasses. Those who are unaffected are very careful that they don't catch the disease because almost everyone's getting affected by it. In fact, on Saturday, our mentor Vishal felt some itching in his eye. I hope our show won't collapse because of conjunctivitis."
