Highest votes again: what's it with Raja - Page 2

itz juss that our indian public is feeling pity for him coz many people died in his family during this show...so maybe coz of that hez getting the highest vote...according to me Aamant and Aneek should get the highest vote..coz they R THE EBST..!!!! ya raja is also the best singer but not better than Aamant and Aneek....!!!

Though he has a good voice, but he certainly is not the best singer of the show... He is also not the most hyped contestant in the show... Its also not just the VS effect, as 2 guys from Hit It are constantly getting into the bottom 3.... What is it then that is constantly getting him the highest vote week after week?

I dont agree he is most hyped person.... none of the judges gave him 10 last week.... he is one of the best singers and pretty consistent too.... he bowled over all people with his allah ke bande hasde and since then he is giving consistent performance.... why is he overhyped if he gets most of the votes... I think he deserves those votes....

Though Mussarrat and Amaanat were best last week.... but Raja has been giving consistent performances with more than one such performance which clicked with the public... and it has nt happened with amaanat and mussarrat or even aneek....

thts it.... i wonder how can we be judgemental in saying someone is overhyped😕

It is good to see that one good singer like Raja is getting maximum no of votes. May be others are good or whatever but when Raja sings he is able to create a deep impact in the majority of the listeners.
He is not getting everything in platter, he had been in the Ekalavya gharana , worked hard to get into a gharana , had been out and sent back by people with an overwhelming 35% of total votes.
In my opinion he has the X factor too and that makes him the strongest contender.

1) choice of songs that suits his voice 👏
2)performance and singing carries a feel 😳
3)his cute smile 😊
4) the way in which he requests for votes 😆
5)last but not least his background 😉

I think he is a good singer and consitent delivery of songs may be the reason he comes on top. But he will not be on top if he forgets lyrics like this... one time people can forgive but again... not good...

Simple ... just 2 reasons

1. Sympathy from the voting public - he was eliminated earlier (some felt it was undeserved) so was backed overwhelmingly with a wild card entry .... in SRGMP, the underdog often goes the longest way ....

2. Empathy from the voting public - he has told the maximum number of *sob* stories ... for his every performance, he has a sob story to tell .... not that they are made up, but they definitely affect the masses who we know get moved emotionally first and musically later ....

i really dont understand how come sob stories work wonders in india??. i mean come of it..wahan har minute kisi na kisi ki sob story sunne ,dekhne yeah padhne milti hai ....shouldnt they be immune to these stories (real or fake) by now?

kabhi, i guess you didnt read carefully..jaya has written in her post that he is "not overhyped" ..
