And I looked across at the bar, no wonder who I found
My AA partners Simi and Moe, gulping cocktails down
They were of course eyeing some hot hunks far away
Hemachandra and Arjun Rampal were making their day
And with them sat Megan, with Shekhar draped on her arm
She found the crowd touchy,eyeing her darling was no harm

Barnali, Bhaskar and Tanaz were having a serious chat
No it wasn't about IF moderation, you better know that.
It was about music, and Bhaskar opened up his backpack
He took out his flute nad played, and the crowd looked back
Tanaz went to say,"Wait, wait wait, let me too join you"
I will play the piano and we will have a jugalbandi too"

But Barnali wanted to play some numbers from yesteryears
And Manju joined her too, thus sounded melody to the ears
They started playing the number "mera naam chi chin choo"
And QT and Rahul got to the dance floor to shake a leg or two
But Rahul soon gave up as he really was stamping QT's feet
So Simi took him away, to give him lessons in doing the twist

And then QT finally sat down, holding her badly bruised toes
The guardian angel Minali soothed her,"No tears, please, no, no"
She called Adi Moshai too and soon they started talking stuff
About why some music was deep, and some was just plain fluff
They were also joined by Anu who said with her sweet, cute voice
"Oh the olden days music is so good, its so soothing and nice"

But Maya came walking down, and did not agree with her at all.
She said " Every era has its good and bad, have to hear them all"
And Kabhi joined them and he said " Can I play some HR please"
And everyone around him shouted "Oh please, no, oh please"
And then Hira Moti butted in, all they had to offer was their moo
And Maya the neat freak went "CKY, take them away, shoo, shoo"

And CKY stopped eyeing Chameli as Maya chachi was around
And just then Rahul and Simi came too,dancing round and round
Everyone got up from their seats to enjoy and dance all night long
And "Let's go party tonight " was of course their favorite song.
