I do not think it was fully scripted but Aneek has an endearing boyish quality and has innocently fallen in love with the Moon. In singing to the Moon, the Moon responds and sends her love to him. Basically, the Gurus were having a little fun with him; especially in the presence of such beautiful ladies anyone would be mesmerised.
