Mahesh Bhatt gives break to wife's look-alike
Director Mahesh Bhatt has signed Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestant Sumedha after seeing her on the show on June 1. A close look at Sumedha and you can easily make out that Sumedha is a look-alike of Mahesh Bhatt's wife Soni Razdan.
When we asked an excited Sumedha about it, she said, "I have seen her (Soni) on television and newspaper many times but I cannot recollect her face. Yesterday only our organizer of the show told me the same thing - I look like Maheshji's wife. If that is true then I thing it is good for me. When I returned from the shoot someone else also told me the same thing. I really want see her, at least her photo."
Has she spokes to Mahesh Bhatt? "No but the creative head of the show talked to him. He is busy in some work right now. I will meet him later and then sign the contract. He saw me perform on the June 1 episode, which was Ismail Darbar special. I had performed on the song ae ajnabi from Deewangee."
How did she react when she got the news? "I could not believe it and when I told this to my family, they were also surprised. But everyone is very happy for me. I am eagerly looking forward to this opportunity."
Sumedha from Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) was in Eklavya gharana (participants on standby). She got the opportunity to enter the competition on May 31 and on June 1 performed for the first time on stage.
