first of all a big round of applause to Venus Williams for winning the Wimbledon title and to himesh for aap ka suroor ( i hated the movie i felt it was like a mithun movie 😆😆😆 but thats not the issue here given i only saw promos of aap ka suroor and am hoping never to see the movie i will watch volver and pans labyrinth and days of our lives again and again )
but coming to the main issue which i want to write about before Anu locks this topic up saying that it is irrelevant to srgmp
just like the Williams sisters win tournament after tournament without the crowds ever acknowledging them simply because they are not courteous or deferential or simply because they are plain black but the most likely reason is that the crowds are unfamiliar seeing a black confident woman going out and winning on the tennis court morever they are not trying to emulate other players
from yesteryears and also show a amazing lack of grace towards their opponents

similarly himesh has come about through the bollywood music industry without a similar brashness that disconcerts traditional followers of music including me
on top of that he gives interviews that make us boil and when he starts arguing we feel even more angry so much so that we start discounting even the other qualities that he has

in a way what i wanted to tell through this post is that both himesh and the williams sisters are challenging the old order and are quite likely to ruffle a few old feathers the wrong way with their abrasiveness but the bottomline is the haters can only fume and fret whilst they go about winning
ironically for the two situations mentioned above i am in 2 different camps
a rabid himesh hater and also a williams sisters fan
