The original song was sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali.
I think the sa re ga ma contestant Amanat sang it as well as the original if not better.
Are these two Amanats related??

I do not think the two amanat's are related, except that they both sing exceptionally well.

I too loved Amanat's performance in the Chakravyuh, actually I've liked him from the start since I've heard him several times in SRGMP ME and knew already that he is an exceptional singer. In fact I was surprised when he had breathing problems in a couple of songs before the chakravyuh, must have been some chest conjestion or something, since I'd never noticed it in SRGMP ME.

I truly hope he wins the competition.

Amanat was excellent in this chakrayuh round.........after 'mitwaa' i loved the 2 songs amanat sang this week 😛 ...what was the 2nd song?i never heard that song,n what does'nu nu' means?these words were in the 2nd song he sang.......hope he will be one of the finalist with Mussarat n will win this C-2007 😛
