Mauli,Shresta and Contest

After reading several posts here I feel somewhat suprised by the distasteful posts that have been posted about Mauli. Even some against her family 😕

So I feel just to balance it out I need to say something about this. I don't want to offend anyone, but I think we are being a bit harsh towards Mauli. I personally dont care for her. BUt I think if we need to blame anyone than it's the way this whole show is laid out and progressing which is messed up.

Yes, I thought Shresta was better today, but in the past I preferred Mauli. Today was Shresta's best day. I feel it is debatable when it comes to all the performances who is better. I don't feel strongly for either really because neither has been consistent. I think the judges realized this and they wanted to keep the person who would attract more debate and more sms's. If we really want to be fair and pick the best singer we should not have this girl, boy thing.

Somehow the male singers seem to be better this year. I feel Harpreet was better than both Mauli and Shresta overall. What performances the guy had from the beginning. How did he get left behind. I thought he would be in the top 12. Just like I thought Sikander was one of the best performers of the show.

I am more disappointed with the way they have handled this whole thing. HOw did Sumedha get ahead with only one performance. I don't know if she is even really good. When Harpreet was chosen to be better initially by Ashaji, how did he get left out.

I don't understand how they are chosing contestants. Those who became the top 2 from the beginning should of been given some consideration.

Anyway, that's the way the cookie crumbles. I think we should blame the way the show has been set up and how they are chosing singers. They will end up with a miserable top 12. Who is good now in the top 12?

Mussarat, Junaid, Amaanat, Apurva? Truly, aren't these the only singers who have been consistently good. Now Sikander, Harpreet , Saberi are all gone. Too bad for the show. ....

I agree with your comments. My question is why they have taken Mouli for granted? Last time also she got another chance to sing Maiya Maiya. Why is she getting favour everytime? Vishal made a point last time which is completely logical. She is good singer but that does not mean that she gets favour everytime.

Your right, but why blame Mauli. I don't think she is telling them "You better select me. I sang Maiyya Maiyya good." One thing all the judges said was that she is popular with the public and somehow all Mauli's family and friends showed up to the show today. 😕 I think the judges are reacting to the tremendous Support this girl seems to garner.

I don't really like Mauli's voice that much so I understand. But, Shresta only sounded good today when she sang in high range. Previously she was a bit off sur as she tried to sing low range songs.

I felt bad too so I am not saying the judgement is right. Infact, I am more angry about Harpreet. Listen to all his performances from the beginning. They were all in SUR. He was amazing from the beginning. Ashaji chose him amongst others to go ahead. I don't know.... I am confused about how they are doing this whole process. The Eklavya gharana was wierd . Nothing made sense.

If somebody is making personal comment about Mouli, its not a good idea. i condemn that. I only felt bad the way it went yesterday. Its not 19-20 difference between Mouli and Sreshta , it was almost 15-20 difference. Owner of the program do not have any kind of ethics, they just run this program to earn money. 😭

U have made all valid points. I think the judgment should be based on the performances that the person did on the day itself. If that was the case then should have seen wasi performance back then to( Thats another issue). but I think by creating a division between a guy/girl they are losing out on good talent. Harpreet shouldnt have been out neither shrestha, up till now she did sing the best in todays epi.

Judges need to come with a clear mind what are the marking on and when they have nothing to say good they will say work on ur confidence, the song is heard, work on the appearance, you didnt dance.

Your absolutely right. I think at the end of the day I realize none of these shows actually care for the singers. It's all about the money and how many trp's they can garner and so they fight with one another to get the higher trps. How silly!

The betterment and popularity of the show is all that matters. It makes me sick 🤢

YEs, Vishal and Shekhar are the only normal one's on the show who use commen sense. Vishal did talk about some ground rules but somehow the others weren't able to understand what he was saying.

Personally, They should decide not to give anyone another chance to sing and they should decide whether they will consider past performances or not. If they consider past performances than everyone's past performance should be considered. Remember Sikander's first performance . It was better than the rest. Inteha ho gayeee....... I still listen to it.

So if his was not considered than nobody's should be considered. What a mess......
