Has anyone noticed the quality of singers in SRGMP recently? This SRGMP is far from the SRGMP2005 which had contestants as competent as Vinit and Nihira. Ok, forget the past, but even in the present, Star Voice of India, I must say has far better singers..(or people who actually deserve to be called singers) than SRGMP. Seeing the plethora...the great enormity of amazing singers that exist in India out there (thanx to VOI)....one must wonder where and how SRGMP came up with its lot of presently incompetent contestants (although Mauli Dave is a pleasure to watch...).
So why do I even watch the show? I mean if you dont like it dont watch it right? Well, I watch it to see Vishal and Shekhar..How they react/ respond to all the nonsense tha happens on the show is commendable. They seem to be very genuine human beings, and how they have managed to maintain themselves...and their dignity is again commendable. I have become a vishal& shekhar fan. However, I feel that they deserve to be at a better place, amongst better talent...a better pool of singers as on Star VOI. Whenever they say that they are proud of the talent they see on SRGMP, I think man they dont know what they are missing. If they are forced to think SRGMP has talent, I can only imagine how great they will feel being amonst Star Voice of India Contestants. Vishal & Shekhar Rock!...um..I mean Hit it!
