When Himesh got emotional!

It was a very touching moment when Himesh Reshammiya's father Bipin Reshammiya visited the sets on the eve of Himesh Reshammiya special episode.

Very few people are aware of the fact that Bipin Reshammiya was the first person who introduced electronic keyboard to Bollywood. Few unknown facts were revealed for the very first time about Himesh too.
Himesh was only 11 years old when his elder brother expired. His father was completely shattered. That was the time this little boy promised his father that he would make up for his lost son. He used to walk all the way from Haji Ali to Dadar in order to save Rs. 8 and buy chocolates of the remaining Rs. 2 out of the Rs. 10 he got as pocket money from his father.

This shows how calculative he has been since childhood. And this attitude of his is even reflected today. His disagreement with the other mentors very much proves this point. So much so that in one particular episode when Mouli Dave gave a disastrous performance, he urged her to sing "maiyya maiiya" again so as to prove his point that contestants should concentrate on same genre of songs rather than be versatile and try experimenting.
