can we put away sarcasm from this thread please? there is a lot of himmy bashing threads.

I think he is good for specific type of songs. Sur is good but donno for other type of melodious and sad songs.

yes, HR is a very talented MD,singer, actor, tele serial producer wagerh, wagerah.
He is ubharta Pancham da, just see use of sitar, sarod, santoor and violin chorus in his songs. His use of raagas are exceptional, infact he has the capability to digest pakad of any raag in his compositions. He has used all sort of rhythms, right from staccato to funk2,3,4 etc...he uses tabla & Pakhawaj in the same song like Ilaya Raaja (an MD often discussed in this forum). Because we don't have good listeners today so he is not getting critical acclaim.
But behold : he is coming out like a rising sun.... 😉 😉
