I read somewhere that Zee spends something like 50 to 100 crores for the reality show like C2005/C2007. Can't they just order some Mughalai/Afgani/Irani food for these 5 guys everyday? You can get all sorts of non-veg food in Mumbai very easily -- something that will taste very similar to the food that they eat in Pakistan. And there are Irani restaurants at every corner. Even beef should not be that much problem in places like Mohammed Ali Road. I really don't understand all this fuss.

Poor contestents. They have to smuggle eggs to cook. SRGMP should have hired a non-veggie cook to cater for non-vegetarian pallets. They are going out with the show in a big way........ yet could not something so simple?

I agree they should hire a non veg cook or cater it from a non veg resturants and be good hosts.

even i wud die if i had to eat veg food
one day i had to to eat coz in india we visited a house they all are veg..

It all depends on the food habit. When you are conducting a Vishhwa Yuddh, how can you expect to fight well in the war if you do not get the food of your choice.

Even the great hidustani classical Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan believed that unless he eat lots of meat(chicken/mutton..) along with ghee.. before any performance , he won't be able to sing well. It became a problem for his host when he was in Chennai as a guest of GN Balsubramaniam(hismself a famous carnatic singer) who were strict vegetarian. 😃
