I think Ismail and Bappida are the only true Gurus this time. I dont think Himesh or VS are really training their participants well. I dont even think they understand the finer nuances of singing and music the way Ismail and Bappida do.
I like VS music, but as judges they are not doing a good job. Shekhar says superb good to everyone and tells all that they have a great voice and will become playback singer.
Have you noticed that with most experience, Bappida never says things like that and gives constructive comments in a nice way. I think they should be getting some MD with more experience than these.
Of course Himesh has never said anything toimprove anyone's music other than I will make you famous, roti kapada whatever. I am yet to see how he has shaped Vinit's career so far, Just my opinion.

You are right. VS and Himesh gharana people are getting the maximum axes. I don't think they did a good job in selecting people in their gharana. Himesh gharana loaded with conestants from Assam( know why???). This week contestants from his gharana are the weakest(both male-(I don't remember his name- he is from Silchar, Assam) and female-Shreshtha). Last week it was VS's gharana( Imran and Sarika).

Ismailji aur Bappida ko jyada parakh hai talent ki.

On another note far from the topic, Bappida is cool and funny. He does things and speaks also very cutely. Did anyone notice that Bappida was doing "Namashkar"(a typical Bengali ritual) with the piece of cake given to him by ID as if it was a God's Prasad. It was so funny.

sure, ID is a good guru. provided of course one wants to learn complex difficult movements that the masses have a hard time humming without heavy orchestration. with HR and VS, one wont get that, but perhaps all the rest 😊

Well both ID and Bappida are jobless and they can afford to spend more time with the contestants.

On a serious note, ofcourse ID and Bappi da are good gurus because they know the grammar of music. They are not here by chance. They have gone through proper channels and training to be a music director. They have dedicated their life to music.

We have some music directors who initially decided to be a producer, then a music director, then a singer, then a mentor, and finally a zero ooops hero. We all know the saying about Jack of all trades. 😉

If you watch the 1st June episode carefully, you can see Himesh reshammiya "trains his contestants just bebore the show"..you can clearly see his contestats in the same dresses on both occasions - during his treaning and also while performing

true😆😆.

if you notice the clip they show where mentors are training, HR and VS were in same costume as they wore in 1st Jun episode(so they train only on that day) whereas BL & ID were in diff dress and the place also looked like their houses.

ID is training in his house, joining contestants for lunch and he may be training before the show .

It's still initial stages - and all these episodes were recorded within a few days of each other. As such, you cannot expect the busier MDs to take out the time to coach their contestants every single day.

I'm sure as the Agnipariksha starts, and it comes down to 1 episode a week, the mentors will spend much more time with their gharana members. That's also when the stakes are higher.
