Retro Cafe (6th June)-Song Request

Hello friends,

It is time again to select songs for the coming week's (6^th June) episode of Retro- Caf !

As you all know we have the "Music & Melody" month going on at IF. As a part of that last month we had an episode on the Famous Music Directors and their first hit song which gave them recognition (episode #55 ). The response of the members to that episode was totally overwhelming and we got many requests for a part 2 as well.

So we decided to have the part 2 of the same but with a slight modification. Our theme this time is going to be….

Songs That Made Music Directors of Yesteryears Popular

So now all you have to do is, make yourself a cup of tea or coffee or cocoa, sit down put on your thinking caps and recollect those songs that have touched your heart and made you want to listen to them again, but you have not been able to.

In this thread please list out those songs which you feel are very famous , songs that made superstars out of our Music Directors. (Note :The choice of directors may kindly be limited upto the end of 1980's, i.e. upto 1989, thanks)
