Respect for HR?why not!

Its strange so many members dislike Himesh Reshammiya! And still keep on making posts about him. why not discuss the contestants? the songs or the areas where the contestant went wrong? what type pf voice suits what songs?

Its a fact that HR music sells and there are fans of his here on IF and outside too. His concerts are booked. So he must be good to win over so many people.

Btw for his detractors there was an article in Sunday Hindustan Times -brunch crediting HR for ushering in Club songs in Hindi bollywood music and also remixes. He is neither a legend nor a genuis like Naushaad or S D Burman, Madan Mohan or OP Nayar, LP or RD Burman but he is something in his own right.Achieivng all this success on his own talent-whether limited or vast is not the contention.

Pl note neither am I his fan nor his detester.

because people of nothing better to do

yea he has gained success through hard work and giving origional hits
(he has copied some songs but it is nothing compared to the amount of origional hits he has given and other music directors gave hits that were copied songs 👎🏼)
he didnt become successful through sms votes and crap like that
it took years of hard work

i went to his concert in october and i went to a concert on saturday
his concert was more full than the concert i went to on saturday
and the concert i went to on saturday had 4 really great singers (asha ji, sonu niga, kunal ganjawala, and kailash kher)
both concerts were reallly fun though

I'm not a fan of Himesh (his singin anyway) tho I must admit he always seems 2 get these songs that r so catchy, b4 u no it, yr hummin away. BUT, I don't like his attitue @ all!!! I didn't watch the whole of the sp on Sat, but y on earth was her barkin at Musarath like dat??????! :O :O I mean, ok, maybe he sang badly, but 2 say "U can't come forward singin Sonu ji, Rafi an Kishore Ji's songs"..............(hell-ooooo, am I missin sumthin?!) Oh yeh! Silly me, of course the way 4wd is sing Himesh songs right?! 😕

respect? if he drops the above, and will give it 😊 i do find his drive and dedication respect-worthy.

I like his music .. but I think hes a little hyper. Too much passionate about his work and music. Its very easy to interpret that as ego and pride.
