Why did you rehash Mehbooba Mehbooba?
If your contestants sing remix versions of Rafiji, Lataji, Kishoreda songs, will you be okay with that?

This particular one, I can take up. Mehbooba Mehbooba by RD was plagiarized from a western song, which itself was probably inspired by a Greek/Middle Eastern tune. No harm in rehashing what was already rehashed.

P.S I am not a Himesh fan, in fact a big RD fan but the plagiarism is a fact

Sahana ji bahut achey questions hain👏..I cannot be in Himmy bhayias shoes but what I have learned about him and here is how most probably he will react to your questions in my opinion..

  • What are the four genres of songs that you have composed? Arey bhai in theories mein kya rakha hai😉...Enjoy my music😛....If you want to learn theory than join my music school😃
  • Could you please pronounce the French word 'genre' correctly as zawhn ray? Better still, since the programme is in Hindi why not use a Hindi word? Is there no equivalent for 'genre' in Hindi? Instead of screaming "I LOVE YOU" at Asha, how about learning some Hindi from her? Asha Tai se Hindi😆..Arey wo bhi "genre" ko "jonar" hi bolti hai🤣

You yell at your students to never sing the songs of Rafi, Lata, Asha and other greats but think it is fine to sing songs of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Could you explain the logic? Maine aage bhi bola, Mujhe contestants ke liye roti chahiye😃, struggle nahin😡..I cannot explain more than that😕

Why is it so difficult for you to be consistent? One minute you shout "ISMAIL DARBAR ISMAIL DARBAR ISMAIL DARBAR ISMAIL DARBAR" and say he is completely responsible for the good performance of a contestant; next minute you say "lekin aapne bhi utna hi mehnat kiya hain". Please make up your mind. Arey bhai, Ek time mein main ek ka hi naam le sakta hoon na..😛 Could you keep your sentences short? We all have short attention spans and cannot listen to a discourse every time. Arey short attention span to bahut buri bimari hai😭..feel sorry for you😛 You tell your students that versatility is not important, being good in one genre is important. You have already slotted your contestants into various genres and have assumed that they cannot sing anything else. How come Mussarat was able to sing a Rafi song like "gulaabi aankhey" when you had slotted him as a Sufi singer?? In my opinion, there are two categories you can slot a singer into one is with roti😃 and other is without roti😭..I try to slot my contestants in the with roti category😃 Your intention of ensuring that your contestants are always well-fed and well-off is laudable. But isn't this contest about choosing the best voice of all? The best voice will emerge only after subjecting it to various tests - of singing various genres (your fave word!). Pehle roti mil jaye😃, phir baki ke genre bhi dekh lenge😉
  • Why do you need to get up and sing the same song immediately after a contestant has finished singing your composition? We know you have a unique, God-gifted voice, but please spare us - we just heard the contestant! I know some of you don't buy my tapes, this is the best time to give a sample to all of you of my divine voice😛..This is the time to make an inroad into the people who don't buy my tapes😉..It is so noble of you to take some of your contestants on a world tour with you. But please, will you allow them to sing songs not composed by you? Again, it is a question of my roti😊..If I don't have roti they cannot have roti😛

Whatever u say,Punjini,i always tend to agree with u.This show is all about the singers to show their versatility.I m sick and tired of listening songs like mitwa, jiya dharak,ya ali,woh lamhe.U see how musarat sang gulabi aankhe, totally not up to the mark.If u cant sing the songs of our greats like Rafi saab,Kishore da,lata ji Asha ji or suresh wadekar, sonu or shaan then u should not be participating in this competition. This competition is all about indian music or hindi film music and u should be bound to sing the songs that we as music lover wants to hear. Srgmp doesnt belongs to only new gen. of 18 to 25 years but the people of 25 to 35 age group also.Me, who belongs to 25-35 age group it is really difficult to digest himesh type of music.THIS IS NOT BUSINESS BAZEEGAR MR.HIMESH,DONT BRING HERE ROTI AND SABZI CRAP.😡

I have biggest objection to this words...... again i am saying the same thing that I said to Punjini.... only because u like Rafiji, Lataji, ashaji Kishoreda etc. and dont like others does nt make u bigger music lovers or other people less music lovers.... even beats and Himesh music is music and people who like them are also music lovers... try to respect others too...... we are also sick of people sticking up to the oldies😡
