Hello Everyone

Hope you all are enjoying the show and today is the first elimination of this Vishwayudh.. Two challengers from some Gharana will be eliminated today..

Recap - yesterday 2 challengers from each Gharana performed in front of the Mahaguru's - Ashaji and Ghulam Ali sahab and the contestants who got the green light were both from Yalgaar Gharana - Rimi Dhar and Amanat Ali..

Group Peformance:

Aditya Narayan, Rimi and Amanat sing tauba tauba ishq main kariyaan from the movie Kaal.. Hmm, not a good performance 😕

Aditya then greets the audience and introduces the mentors of the gharana's Josh, Hit It, Rock and Yalgaar.. The mentors as usual say their tag line..

Aditya then introduces the Mahaguru's.. They are same who were for the previous episode Ashaji and Ghulam Ali sahab.. He says they are sitting on dharmasan..

First Gharana - Hit It - Vishal Sekhar

Contestant Performance:


Meghna sings zindagi mein koi kabhi aaye na Rabba.. It was a good performance though her voice was shaking.. Aditya asked her how she feels.. She said she has throat infection and couldnt perform the high notes well..

Apurva sings Tu hi meri shab hain from Gangster.. Very Good Performance..

Comments from Mentors:

Bappida - Very good improvement.. Apurva sang very well

HR - Better than yesterday.. Towards improvement.. If half note was high, it could have been better for Apurva

ID - VS ki mehnat dikhaayi de rahi hain.. If in one day they can improve so much, then there is lot of time left for the finals..

VS - There is no excuse for nervousness.. Leave it to mercy of Mahaguru's for them to reach next round..

Ghulam Ali sahab - They have sung in relax mood. Apurva sang very well

Ashaji - meghna sang better than yesterday.. Voice should not shake, maintain it steadily.. She praises Apurva and says he will become playback singer if he keeps performing well..

Yogendra from London

Before he starts performing Himeshji says he is a very good person by heart, he is very innocent and cute... An okey performance

He sings Phirta rahu darbhadar.. After his performance, he says its an honour for him to perform in front of such stalwarts.. He is from India but Himeshji chose him from London and whether he performs well or not, he is happy today..
Shreshta sings Tere liye hum hain jiye.. The throw was less in the voice..

VS - To Yogendra - you enjoy the song when you sing, but also concentrate on your sur.. Not only being good human being but also singing right thing is important.. Vishal says Himeshji needs to dedicate time for you

ID - to Yogendra Sur mein dhyaan do, says to Shreshtha, the anthra was good

Bappida - To shreshtha - sang well, and that it was his fav song..

Sunil Kumar sings dil de diya hain jaan tumhe denge.. Really enjoyed his performance 👏

Koyal sings - Rock me baby from Aitraaz.. Good Performance..

HR - Koyal has made lot of confidence to sing this song.. Its a difficult song to sing.. Sunil sang very well..

ID - To Sunil - Bahut accha gaaya.. To Koyal - If you had sung well the Anthra, Himeshji would have praised you.. He also says - "How much ever bold song you have sang, that much bold clothes you have worn"

VS - Sunil sang well, but could concentrate on high notes

Bappida - Agrees to ID regarding the anthra of Koyal

Ashaji - To sunil - you are the first person, who has sung without missing Sur.. Sang well.. To Koyal - Everyone are watching this episode from all over the country and also at international level, so we have to maintain the culture.. I dont understand english, so couldnt understand the words of your song..

Ghulam Ali sahab - To Koyal - The words are bold, you have thrown more voice to the words, have to improve

Girls:

Meghna gets Green and Shreshtha gets Green..

Koyal is Out.. She says she is upset and is satisfied that she could perform in front of the stalwarts and on stage of SRGMP

But before she says something Ashaji asks her who chose the song - She says she was not the one to choose it, its the MDs of the show who choose the song.. The MD Shriram Iyer comes on mike and speaks and says the contestants themselves choose it..

Himeshji then interrupts and says - maybe this song is not suitable for the stage, but there is nothing wrong in composition, it was such a situation where Priyanka had such a bold situation, If anyone has problem with the composition, let them talk to me.. Himani and Ujjaini have been praised for singing this song in the same stage.. Ashaji then interrupts and says lets keep the fight outside and neednot discourage the contestants..

She asks apology to Shreshtha for whatever happened

Boys:

Before elimination a small interview is taken among the boys.. Sunil says he is confident, Apurva is still nervous and Yogendra says everyone wants to win and so he wants to win too

Sunil gets green, Apurva gets green and so Yogendra is Out 😭

Really it was emotional moment, it was the correct decision, but still felt bad for this guy.. 😭

In his final speech he said - "I have not crossed this round, but im thinking of crossing many more obstacles in life.. I dont have classical knowledge and thats the reason, my sur was not perfect.. I have learnt it and will improve myself.. I have a good voice and will show that to this world"

His father gets emotional and sings, the title song of Agar tum na hote for him.. It was such an emotional moment for all... 😊

Ghulam Ali sahab and Ashaji praised Yogendra for being such a good person and HR comments saying what is important is being a good person.. He said " I have received lot of comments from Ashaji today and also yesterday, but still I will Love her always"

Bappida also becomes emotional and asks Yogendra to come to his house and sing once so as to give him a break 😊

Aditya said - they can be back in Brahmastra round.. So something similar to C2005 can be predicted 😛 😆

At the end - Yogendra and Koyal sing Har ghadi badal rahi hain dhoop zindagi..

Thanks a lot for the update. I just posted my reply in another post that from yesterday's episode(US), I felt that Yogi and Koel are the bottom 2 contestants in the group (I didnt know even the judges thought so). Good and fair judgement.. 👏

I dunno how to explain it - it was kind of sleeveless frock.. I didnt find anything wrong in it.. Dunno why such a big drama for this and also whats wrong with the song, as Himesh said, it was fit for the situation and such songs have already been sung in C2005.. no objection was made - why suddenly such a huge hip hop for the song 😕😕 Yes its a bold song, but whats wrong singing it on stage 😕

I dont know abt today's performance as we'll be watching it today evening here(US) and the video update has not come yet but Koyal was completely besura in yeterday's episode although her voice is better than Shrestha. But Shrestha(though her voice was not of good quality) was not besura.

Exactly 👏 Shreshtha's voice maynot have the throw, but was not besura, while koyal's was..
