this year zee has changed the format to get more TRPs

last time around the initial TRPs were bad
it started changing only after the salaman khan episode
of course by the time it ended it was more popular than any other reality show on indian tv

lil champs broke all records by becoming the first non star plus show to top at no 1 in six years beating all k serials

so they understand public voting is what hooks up ppl
and to get ppl hooked onm they need beedi and maiyya only

i m no classical singer but what little i understood of sur this years batch is far weaker

but then again except for nihira none of the C05 singers
were professionals and only improved under 6 months of training
the only ppl who did not improve were ppl under himesh
ujjaini actually deteriorated under his guidance
she would have been far more comfortable under jatin lalit

but this is the way its going to be in the future
zee is not going to run a free lunch for all the talented singers in the country if they do not have the x factor they have ran a free lunch for the past 10 years without getting the requisite TRPs in return

pradeep guha and his new management have made TRPs the sole focus

that shows in the change to SRGMP as well as axing of shows like astitva

no wonder gajendra singh didnt like it
he was made accountable for TRPs and no longer had a blank cheque to fulfill his vision

this is plain and simple business
but just wish they couldf give us classical srgmp
if possible in the sunday morning or some unglamorous band so that some singers actually also come through

Offcourse i enjoyed the numbers.If you now recollect, Debojit's Humma humma came not in the first round ...it was much later. Same with Vineet's Tera jadoo chal gaya.

Debojit came into notice with a beautiful Ajoy Chakroborty song titled "Ghoom ashe na"that he sang in the other series.That was the song which decided him the winner over Vineet in that series.

There is no denying that each of the C2005 singers have given mindblowing performances, but on the first day of the first episode, I doubt if all were so powerful.

and his attitude was even worse


the only persons i liked was nihira/hema

i never liked vinit or himani

debojit i only supported after nihira went out

for me the winner always will be nihira

I had not seen C 2005 from first episode that is why i said that this singers will improve later.....😃......

i have nt heard debo's earlier song u said nor had i heard Vinit's tera jaadoo chal gaya before finals..... I just wanted to say that if u take number of performances that were good..... it was with vinit whether it was in earlier rounds or later rounds....

i remember sandese aate hain, patta buta, parda hain parda hain, tera jaadoo chal gaya and many more.....😃 which i enjoyed......😆

lalt wait till you hear mauli more you will be surprised she has sweetest voice like Nihira she does not sing like this at all. I was totally surprised when I heard her sing like sunidhi. and i thought her singing was totally out of this world.

She does have very sweet voice like Nihira and trust me i have heard her infinite times. just keep watching her this girl is a surprise package. She is not only great singer but great dancer and performer too.

I too am a admirer of Nihira and I also felt that she should have been the winner.
