yea, I hope he took that into consideration - I don't expect a person from Dubai to leave on the first week.

😆Yes Appa, who can beat your favorite contestant😃 BTW welcome back!!Originally posted by: apparaohoare
I think the most promising contestant is the one who sang "Humko deewana kar gaye" with lot of emotions and expressions. 😉 😉
They will be graded starting next week..Hopefully Judges Asha and Gulam Ali have not already made an impression about him..Originally posted by: Bhavesh.Chauhan

thast what i thought and so did V&S...i didnt fancy contestants that ID and HR picked that much😕 I think Bappi da with so much experience (even with copying foreign tunes and what not), he knows what he is looking for in his contestants.
He sure knows what he is looking for in his contestants..I think he is a cool mentor and fatherly figure and contestants may not be stressed out under him and may give better performances..Originally posted by: wite_rainbow

I am most impressed with the boy from Dubai -- Amanat Ali. He was closest to the professional singers both in terms of command over voice and quality of voice...and his voice was most melodious. I am hoping to hear some good sufi numbers from him.
Regrading Mauli, I think she got little over rated. The other girl from US, Sumana was not bad. It is just that Mauli chose a fast number, sang it with heavy nasal voice, presented it well to impress all. Unfortunately Sumana chose a melodious soft number and seems there are no takers for such songs these days. I think both of them should have adviced to sing songs of same genre. If Mauli had sung a soft melody, I am not sure if the results would have been same....
😃😃😃 Fianlly some one who thinks exactly the way I thought....
I think Amanat Ali from Dubai has been the best by far.. He has some silky touch in his voice that no other singer seemed to have... The singer from Pakistan who went to Yalgaar gharana and sang 'Kinna sona tenu' also sounded quite promising...
Molly Dave - I thought has been too much overrated.. She chose a popular number.. a song that in itself has ahrdly any melody and sur and sang it in a style that appeal to today's masses... Sumana Ganguli's tonal quality was lot better and unfortunately she was sidelined! I am very very sure that Molly will not be impressive in the slow romantic numbers!!
