Hey all,

Considering the huge number of pages we have had in the picture gallery, here we have come up with a new picture gallery for the new Sa Re Ga Ma Pa C2007 Show.. So, post all pictures regarding the show here..

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007

Zee TV?s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 publicly announced at Taj Lands End on 25th April, 2007. Zee TV?s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa which is one of its own kind was publicly announced at Taj Lands End, Bandra in Mumbai on 25th April, 2007. The announcement was done by Music Composer Ismail Darbar, Musical Duo Vishal and Shekhar & Music Maestro Bappi Lahiri. Rockstar Himesh Reshmaiyaa is also a part of the show but was missing during the announcement. The best part of this show is it?s on an international level and gives an equal opportunity to everyone irrespective of their nationality, religion, caste and creed. The show will be aired on Fridays and Saturdays on Zee TV. With so many big names joining hands, it?s sure a must watch for all the music lovers!!!

Launch of talent hunt for Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge Wednesday, April 25, Taj Lands End It's being billed as 'Sangeet ka pratham vishvayudh' and with Udit Narayan's son Aditya taking over as host in place of Shaan, Zee's musical talent hunt show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge is ready to go global. Also present on the occasion of the announcement of this season's talent hunt were Punit Goenka (Head of Business, Zee TV) and last year's winner Debojit Saha.

The five music moguls who'll be mentoring the contestants from across the US, UK, UAE, South Africa and Pakistan besides India include Ismail Darbar, Bappi Lahiri, Himesh Reshamiya, s Vishal and Shekhar. Here's looking forward to it.

Rohit and Manasi Joshi Roy have turned entrepreneurs. The couple has started their very own production house, called MagicWorks, which will make both fiction and non-fiction shows. Their first project will be a segment titled Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Hungama, which will be hosted by Neha Bhasin and will be telecast on Zee Muzic.
Talking about it, Rohit says, "It will air right after Sa Re Ga Ma Pa gets over at 11 pm (Friday and Saturday, 10 pm), twice a week. The show will capture behind the scenes action and all the drama backstage."
The show is slated to go on air from May 4.

Star Voice of India repeating the same clich- Venue and Timings not yet official

I have received several mails asking for the venue and timings and details about the show. But I am disappointed to repeat it again that the authorities have not made such information official to the larger media. But amid all those request mails I received one particular concern, which I thought I can put forward so as to start the forum and take the discussion ahead on the issue.

Star Voice of India Talent show's announcement and the news that the audition will take place only in major North Indian cities reminds one of all the partialities done to the South Indian Audiences.

Earlier when participants from down south made it to the big league-like Karunya in "Indian Idol" and Hema Chandra in "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa", they lost out not because of lack of talent but because of lack of votes. Now one has to understand that votes are never directly related to talent. So the questions remain:

Why does this happen? And why has South India never actually been a major player in such Talent Shows? –Is it because the channels have not been keen enough to bring down south in the larger picture?

The person who raised this concern has something to say. I want all of you to listen to it:

Its' true that in South India there is less percentage of people who will watch the channels like SONY, ZEE, and STAR TV's. But that should not be the reason for which the channels like STAR to take decision like they are not going to do any auditions in the Cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.

Let us raise the issue and get the auditions to be done at these places too. Leave your comments to support the issue and spread the word to your friends.
