i dont really know for sure. i think it comes down to what each kid is about. no one size fits all. on average though, i'd think the eralier the better. but you cant let them feel unloved and sometimes when you cut them loose and independent, they can mistake that for lack of love.

again depends on the kid, on the type of friends. but too many late nights and hanging out cant ever be a good thing on young impressionable minds.

again depends. on average, perhaps right before they go to college. best to start that at home than in a dorm later on.

4. When should a child drive? what age? Why?

probably 21. i've seen too many 18yr olds in this country get into accidents because of youth and recklessness. but i think the economy is not geared towards supporting a higher age since so many 18 yr olds work.

5. Why can't kid's talk back to elders? Should they sit their and be insulted?

oh i think i shld let one of the good parental types answer this. i am no expert... All i know is that we could not do that when we were growing up. still cant. and that worked for us

6. There was a fight between a teacher and a kid. The teacher said something irrelevent [made a false accusation, on purpose], and the kid talked back, to explain his innocance, he did this with anger. Why would the kid get in trouble for this?

because even adults are not above reproach. unfortunate but true. also the kid probably has lower credibility than the teacher.

7. NUMBER 6, should the kid have gotten in trouble?

no. too bad he/ she did, but there are a lot more things wrong in the world before that and i wldnt lose too much sleep crying over that kid. good for the kid in any event to learn that the world can be a bit unfair at times

8. Where would you see the youth if they were allowed to talk back?

rebellious. some rebellion is probably fine but it has to be channeled in the right direction

9. What's the limit to a kid's anger?

i dont think there's a limit to even adult anger. haven't u seen crabby old men? i dont know which religious text i read but it said that "krodh is one of the worst evils"

10. How should a parent disipline their kid?

if possible, the carrot approach probably works best i think to reinforce positive behavior. in any case, the stick worked for us, but not sure it wld anymore

sorry i guess in hindsight this sounds too preachy. just happens to be what i am thinking today, no assurances that any of it is right😊

😆 I can very well relate to this... just that in my case, I guess - it reversed between mom and dad...
