First Look: SRK on Antakshari

The format couldn't be simpler: sing a song starting with the last letter of the last song.



But Antakshari is a nation-wide phenomenon, and Colgate Maxfresh Antakshari -- The Great Challenge, aims to hit a good note among musical shows on TV.

The show, produced by Gajendra Singh, has always been a success and its latest avatar for Star One promises to pack even more excitement.



The first episode on Friday, February 9, will be introduced by none other than Shah Rukh Khan, joining hosts Annu Kapoor and Juhi Parmar. Singer Shaan will also be a part of the merrymaking.



Colgate Maxfresh Antakshari will be telecast Friday-Sunday at 8pm, on Star One.

On a more serious note, its not the celebrities, but the singers, who determine the quality of an Antakshari. Getting SRK and Shaan is not the point.

The only reason why SRGM was so watchable, inspite of all the drama, was the quality of singing talent that was very high.

This one is made by Gajendra the other one on Zee is not made by Gajendra yaar. You didnt see the news few months back that Gajji Quit Zee? 😆😆

SRGMP will be same as like how it happened with Antakshari bro. Zee SRGMP is starting soon it is goin to be a "middle east challenge" So indians in Saudi , jeddah , pakistan etc,, out of india can compete in that. While Gajji will be doing another SRGMP for Star One and the auditions have begun for that in Mumbai , Delhi etc.. so the usual Indian SRGMP but on Star One. Zee Antakshari has Flopped and now we shall see how Gajji Antakshari will do which starts this Friday as the post says. GOOD TIMES!! 2 of the same shows we love and double the mazaa and not sazaa i hope 😆😆😆

I hope that this Antakshari and the new SRGMP on StarOne do well... Actually, they will because Gajji surely knows the tricks of the trade...
