The purpose is to make the bharat milaap of Bhaskar Pratap Thakoor and his dreamgirl Aamna Sharieff turn into reality…Bole to Shaadi
Overall project was highly successful thanks to some effort extraordinaire by the project team in general and some esteemed hard workers who took the project to their heart as if their very existence depended on it's success. The shaadi did happen alongwith every milestone ceremony along the course. There were some hiccups along the way as is expected in any project but overall project was an astounding SUCCESS.
Inception (Read: Preparation)
This was probably the most painless of all phases. The project team was humongous at he inception of this project which is in direct contrast to the ususal projects where the project team size peaks at the execute level. But nevertheless the participation was overwhelming. Everybody was upto the task
The only item worth improving at this stage would be to plan the next steps of the marriage a little better in terms of setting the KPIs at each stage with defined deadlines. Few people had to be constantly bugged to either lagao choona/haldi/khana/visphotak materials etc,. etc. But the overall enthusiasm demonstrated by the project team eclipsed this minor lapse.
Analysis (Read: Gaana Bajana)
A few dedicated members of the project team took over this phase. Worth noting are the names of Vinnie, Zeebee, Saara, Ritzblitzkrieg. Gaana Bajana was very festive but lacked participation. In the end an ostensibly tired Vinnie gave up. Nobody even served coke to her dry throat. You shine…Vinnie.👏👏
Several improvements are worth noting at this phase. All these are accountability issues. Gulabbo never delivered gulabjal at this stage. Don Gang kept threatening so there is a need to counter that threat by contacting another underworld gang to keep this menace in check. Ron ki khud ki baj gayi. The guy never showed up. I mean c'mon…. the guy keeps painting the town red all over but when it comes to our own bro' he cinched….I don't know what kind of magical spell Jadoo was under but he never showed up in any ceremony. Need to find another singer for future projects. Tansen Sur_Sangam sounds like a good option.
Design (Read: Sagai)
Again Vinnie was the champ along with some able help of the usual suspects (ZeeBee, RitzBlitzkrieg, Munna, Matarani, Adi, Sur_Sangam). Help came from several different quarters as well. Bholi Bhali after a LOT of persuation finally showed up with her cosmetic kit which included mustard oil. She was all the intentions of frying Bhaskar to be served at her own shaadi…. What a friend?.... Jeez…she would friendly neighborhood spiderman to shame. Matarani made a lot of food but unfortunately she made a mincemeat (literally) of her dishes by blsting the poor animals apart with the bombs. Sur Sangam came to rescue with his timely arrangement of Dr. Diarrhea Roko Singh and himself put to service. Now this is called teamwork (Simpleji…listening?). Gulabbo finally showed up her fireworks, the Gulabjal was missing though. Adi boss finally dug up the tambus and finalized the honeymoon package. The sagai was done with lots of pomp and show
In future the animals should not be blasted with bombs. If there are too many animals to be slaughtered, Send them to a slaughterhouse (Any Qasai on thr forum?). Matarani to take up some cooking lessons. Gulabbo to complete her assignments upfront and not make the project team until the last moment worrying for her deliverables.
(Shaadi)
What a ceremony it turned out to be. As usual Vinnie was the leader of the pack of volunteers which were the saving grace among a melee of lafanges who tried their best to hijack the wedding ceremony. Aamna came out of her "purdah" and had to reveal herself in front of the Don gang to plead them to let the marriage take place. Don Gang refused to recognize the marriage. In their opinion, how can a Dulha look so simple without any choona putai (make-up). Ms. Bholi Bhali bailed out at the very last moment after making several false promises. Poor Bhaskar had to show a very dishelved face to the Kanya gang. Don gang which was all out to hijack the wedding found this as a perfect execuse to turn the ceremony into a disaster. However, Vinnie ji along with Adi, Awww and Ritz Blitzkrieged and wawwwwed the Kanya party and won the battle. Of course Aamna;s presence helped.
Several Lessons to be learnt
1. Do a thorough background check on each person. Just because somebody's name is Ms Bholi Bhali does not make that person "uncomplicated".
2. Trust Murphy's law to happen. If something can go wrong, it will go wrong. Don gang's unexpected appearance exemplifies that.
3. Trust no one. Not even the Dulha and Dulhan to appear on time. Keep all on leash at all times. While Vinnieji and gang were busy arranging shaadi, Ms. Bholi Bhali was advising Bhaskar to stay away. In fact she was giving false information to Bhaskar on msn. Bhaskar….an advice….know your friends…..agar hum na hote to tum aaj bhi kunware hote……Ye Bholi Bhali to…😲😛.
Review (Honeymoon and thereafter)
Bhaskar is missing. Not sure if he is enjoying the view of lakes of Geneva from the top or bottom. Either way, his well being after marriage was not one of the key performance indicators of this marriage so that is none of the concerns of Project Manager. However, as a human being and friend, the Project Manager (CKY) is interested in knowing whether he is still alive or not.
Another notable incident to happen is that this marraiage generated so much interest that the servers of IF started hyperventilating. Henceforth, per the section 101.2.(cky).5s. issued by Barnaliji, all future marriages will first have to be license by her before it can advent on the forum.
