The songs that he sang...a lot of them noone else has attempted before. That is remarkbale cuz many hit songs are often repeated over and over again across reality shows. His style is inimitable. There are many examples, but I think the best example is Tujhse naaraz...to attempt a Lata number and still move everyone to tears is no mean feat.
Why is that important? Because to survive in this comptetive industry you have to bring something new to the table. There are many singers who sound as good as the originals, but very few who can sing a song and stamp it with signature style.

Saregama pa gave us a lovely gift neatly packaged in an awesome bundle of bursting energy, masti and song in the form of Sameer.
He captured and stole our hearts from his O majhe Re, and onwards.
If Alkaji and Bappida did not chose him after 32 contestants were chosen, we would have never had the joy of seeing this bundle of energy and power packed performance by this sweet little guy.The more I listen to his songs, the more I like his voice and all his power packed performances are awesome 👏 👏
God bless him wherever he is, and give him all the success in life, but I wish he continues with his schooling.
