TUCK your T-shirt in," Aparna Pande nudges her teenage daughter like a true mother. Mum's the word, and Pawani Pande quickly pulls it in and zips up a smart jacket. This is when we finally recognise the girl - the number four in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa's L'il Champ that had the entire country praying, singing, and smsing. "Oh that, I hated it. Personally, I don't quite encourage public voting. It just can't match up to the judges sitting there. When there is a jury that's experienced and masters in their field, why ask the public to vote and spoil it," she says, voicing the same for the other l'il singers. Does she want to come back, try again? "Not at all. I am happy this way. Moroever, I've done all I could. It's time to enjoy life for a while," Pawani is back to school in Mumbai. She's in Class IX and prefers her friends treat her normally. "I am not a celebrity yet, and I want things to be normal right now."

"We, in any case, never put the pressure on her. It was a contest and it was meant to be enjoyed," Aparna adds. Quiz her fav, and she shoots - Shraddha, Neha and Aubrokanti. What next? "Study and later on, playback. It's my only passion. Music is my life." Sing along!

I still think that Pawni is an awesome singer and should have been in the final 3. I dont know if she is a better singer than Sanchita, but she is a better performer on stage. 👏 👏 👏 I think that Pawni was #5 and Abro was #4, if I am not wrong

I agree with you than again she has her whole future in front of her probably she will do even better. I wish her all the best in world.

i too agree with yu. she with Abro should hav been in the final three. then it would hav been really interesting finals.

Pawni has almost all the qualities, needed for a good singer. She has versatality, and excellent control of voice in higher pitch. If she maintains such qualities, she will be as successful as any other good singer. All the best for her future. I do not care whether she is number 5 or number 10 or 1, she has the potential and will reap success in future. 👏 👏 👏

Pawni is a talented singer, good control of voice and if she continues like this, she will do well. I feel that she is still better off than Sanchita, Diwaker and Sameer, because she has continued with her schooling, which is very important in a young person's life. Sanchita, Diwakar and Sameer has had to sacrifice nearly a whole year of school, i do not know if they will catch up. In life, there is always a trade off,e.g.fame and fortune and public spotlight for an interrupted childhood.I hope their parents are smart enough to realize that fame and fortune at this age is not the right way for these youngsters.
