Kuber Music's first romantic Sufi venture is an album by the name of 'Diwani Kar Dini' comprising eight songs sung by multi talented Masoom and Sadaa Thakur. The duo launched their first ever album in the national capital recently. The Smashits spoke to the duo at the launch.

Excerpts from the interview:

Would you tell us something about your album?

This album is a dream come true for us. For years we have been dreaming for this day. It took us one full year to make this album.

What's the inspiration behind the album?

We have struggled a lot but we are doing well now. This is our profession. Until recently, we had been recording songs. Then we just decided to do an album.

What kind of songs have you sung in this album?

We have sung all kinds of songs - romantic and naughty - there is a song of a drunkard too. The album is a mix bag of all types of songs.

Where did you shoot the album?

We made a video of one song which is the title song. It has been shot in Delhi. Mr. Laxman has shot the video which has come out really well. And, we are sure the people will like it.

What's music to you?

Music is life for us; without music life is meaningless for us. We have spent life in singing. It has been almost 20 to 25 years that we have been singing and we are still in the learning mode.

What are your expectations from the album?

We are expecting a lot but its fate depends on the audience. We will continue to make such albums. We are dedicated and one day we wish to be playback singer.
