I am so sorry to Vajpeyee ji..... I opened a thread because I really got khushike aansoon while watching him yesterday so wanted to appreciate him..... But some fellows just dont understand the meaning for which the thread is opened.....

Today I am really crying because the thread was closed with full of 4 pages personal attacks and 1 page of appreciation....

I am sorry to Vajpeyee ji and to the members and Dev team to have opened the thread

😭

It is really sad. I agree with you Abhi. Very unfortunate. The thread has nothing but personal attacks on each other.

Agree 100%

But would like to say something. Everyone has their own idols and people to whom we look up to. We need to remember that if we do not like someone, whatever the critisism be, we cannot make comments which attack the personal integrity of the person or the attack be of a nature which is "below the belt".

And for the fans, if someone does make a mean or sleazy comment, we can easily argue without getting personal.

Everyone has a different pov and by itself, having a diff pov is not wrong. It is the way we write and the manner in which we write which is sometimes taken as being attacking, bashing etc.

Abhi,

I have believed that if you are truly inspired by another, you show your respect or pay homage to that person by following the principles laid down by them.

Vajpayjee as a person has shown how to rise above petty behaviour and be magnanimous.

If you respect him, imbibe his values and be like him.

Everyone has a different pov, just respect it and go on.

I never replied against anyone's POV except for Ron's remark about drinking.... u can give ur POV.... but go to that thread.... if u take appreciation and POV it is only 1 page.... and 4 pages is just personal attacks on each other.... the thread was not closed becaus of POV but the personal attacks.....

I am talking only about the personal attacks here

I cannot agree with you more... Constructive criticism is fine... But why keep Criticizing and making comments that will hurt people's sentiments..

That thread was about Vajpayeeji but i was so shocked to see so much of personal attack in the thread...

I respect this man Shri Atal Bihari Vajpeyee a lot. He is very modest and mentally very tough person. I voted for BJP/Shivsena only because I wanted him to be PM. He may not be as qualified as Mr. Manmohan Singh but for the Person he is, he was the best for PM position. When I saw him talking laughing with the children, I was so much taken that the tears rolled down automatically. when sameer said does he cut cake on birthday and the way he laughed.... the way he inspired them with poem..... he had also written a letter to Lil champs some weeks back....

Shri Vajpeyee sahab ko mera salaam, mera pranaam

👏 He truely is a man self made. 😆😆 Sorry Abhi, cannot argue on this with you. I also admire him. Mera Pranaam to him too👏👏👏

This was the first reply in that thread and should give you more idea where the thread went wrong

Abhi,

the problem is - when we are expressing our POV's we tend to go out and prove our point and if and in that course of time, proving the point turns into a personal attack...
