Oh! I was a big Mithun fan then. I watched all his movies that time. Disco Dancer, Dance Dance, Commando, Guru, Waqt Ki Awaz, Kasam Paida Karne Wale ki, you name it, I have seen it all, and many times. 😆 I even watched his live show along with Bappi da when I was 11 years old.

I did see Usha Uthups concert when i was little like 7 or 8 maybe she has lots of energy man. Her song "My heart is Beating" is SOOOOOO GOOD!! and her voice and singing style is so different. even now like 16-17 years later I still love that song!!!

sorry to interfere but 'My heart is beating' is not an Usha Uthup song, it was sung by Preeti Sagar for the film Julie.

By the way Mithun ki baat chal rahi hai, i remember keeping his photos under my pillow , as a kid. 😳 was a huge Mithun fan. I remember watching Do Anjane(starring Rekha and Amitabh) as there was a buzz that Mithun and Amitabh are coming together for the first time. Not to mention, Mithun was in only one scene for about 3 secs , he was 1 from the big neighborhood of the leading pair.😆 he said something to Amitabh and Amitabh said something like - Bhag yahan se😆 . that was it.

Btw, some time back, quite amazingly, two african hostelmates of mine were singing Jimmy-Jimmy Aaja-Aaja for me. 😊

Its so sad that a superstar had such a gr8 fall from grace.

OH thanx for correction meena!! I just remember first time i heard dat song was at the Usha Uthups concert and then another version by Sukhwinder So i assumed Usha sang the original!! WOW 16- 17 years i have been LIVING A LIFE OF LIES...... NNOOOOOOO😆

Mithun was a Superstar too bad he couldnt maintain his status. He is makin a comeback though not in a big way though nuthin like the Big B or anything Oh well best wishes for him. He just needs a lucky break i guess.
