I noticed this in the ICICI "smart cards" handed over to the winners, but was this on the cheque as well, the winning cheque 😲

But I havent seen Rahul Vaidya as the face of ICICI nor have we seen him in any ICICI commercials. Indian Idol is not even on Zee channel, and II is a rival show.

I saw it on Saturday and was absolutely shocked 😲😲😲
This really makes me wonder if ICICI and all other such companies actually give away the prize money etc that they promise

even in II2 the mobile phones tht were given to the contestants were later taken away frm them after the show got over.😆

I am sure they must be doing that Jaya.

After all, these are just those huge placard cheques, which cannot be presented at the banks😉

I do remember some cricket final, where such a huge placard cheque was handed over and someone even instructed the winner (think it was Inzy) that he should not present this huge cheque at the bank, but instead present the small one, normal sized one, which is in the small envelope handed over 😆 and I remember rolling over thinking of the contestant walking to the bank and filling in a pay in slip with this huge monstrocity of a cheque 😆

I am also surprised at this, because though I did not see it on the cheque, I noticed it on all the other things like that ICICI promotion of young stars account opening, their cards etc.

Are you serious 😲? I mean do you know for sure? How can they take back something that they presented to them as gifts??!!!!

There was a movie in which Adam Sandler is a golf champ in need of money and he too has similar thoughts

In reality, almost all contest winners where they present a cheque like this, they have the contestants name on the cheque, even I found it to be curious, but the first reaction that went thru my mind was we in US are made to recycle cans of coke etc to save environment, and I thought In India they are trying to save tree's and are recycling the cheque's(tells us how many talent hunt shows are being run in the country these days😉)
