He sang before fully packed concert hall with audience of more than 2500 people (with more than 300 standing). It was very lively with 3 hours of Debu, Debu and Debu only (except for brief 10 minutes when a local artist gave break to Debu). There was nobody else on the stage other than Debu and his musicians for 3 hours. I thouroughly enjoyed the show, sitting just 15 feet away from Debu and dancing on most of his fast paced songs. He entralled the audience with the songs of all different moods. Right from 2 years olds to senior citizens all were enjoying every moment of the show.

One thing that I noticed prominently is Debu now looks much more confident, fresh, smiling than what we saw him during C2005. He danced very energetically on all his fast paced songs and most importantly his voice sounded much better, fresher and polished than C2005 days. Each and every song was superb and there wasn't even one dull moment. Here are the songs that he sung, emoticons to indicate how well he sang and how audience responded.

And I think I am missing one or two.. plus he sang one bangla and one gujju song... so all in all about 27 songs... practically non-stop.... It was a great concert and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment.... 3 hours of sheer joy!...non-stop! just 15 feet away from him !!!!!

My request to all Debu fans -- if he comes to your town, don't miss his concert. You will regret it later.

I do not have good photos to share, but I know there were many other bay area IFians present. Hope someone will post photos.

PS: I was sitting so near to Debu that I made him shout Yalgaar Ho couple of times... YALGAAR HO!!!!

Yes Adi. Debu is now many times better than what he was during C2005. And the concert for awesome. For someone like me who is 300% Debu fan (I know you are also one), I could not have expected anything better. He did not disappoint me on any front. I like Kishoreda's soft songs and he sung those (ye jo mohabbat hai and rimzim gire), I like some of Kishore da's fast paces songs and he sung those (dekha na hai re, main hun zum zum), I like Rafi's romatic numbers and he sung one (tum jo mil gaye ho), I do not like Himesh much but I do enjoy some of his songs when I am in great party mood and he sung those (jalak and ABA). I was just 15 feet away from him and got to shake his hand during every other song. I wanted just Debu and Debu and he sung 27 songs non-stop. What more could I have expected?

I went to HR's show here where Vinit and Himani were part of the team. But poor Vinit got to sing just 2-3 songs in 3.5 hours show. He needs to get out of the shadow of his mentor.

I flew more than 6 hrs from the east coast to see his show.. from airport st went there to the temple..
I enjoyed the show though I was not too impressed.. I could feel he was stressed and the music accopanying his was not that great..but the track support helped I think.
I met him after the show.. clicked a few photos.. i found him to be really nice.. no hot airs with him .. very humble and polite.. I feel proud of this guy as a human being.. and thats exactly what I told him.. I got my flying files..

Thanks, salilji. Great to hear that Debo has become even better. He has a great soothing voice and I really enjoy his singing. When I liked most of his performances in Challenge '05 but one song that keeps ringing in my ears is his Fame '05 performance 'Ghum Ashe Naa' (Bangla Ajay Chakroborty song). He was just too good in that.

Absolutely agree Kanta... that was one of the best performances of Debo.... 👏 👏 👏
