Its indeed a very sad loss. He made some remarkable movies like Anand, Abhiman, Golmaal [which is my favourite]. Its very sad that he was lonely towards his end.

Sad News Indian Cinema has lost a tue gem and legend 😭 😭 😭 but his films potrayed story of common man and all his movies are classic gems and Hrishida will be remembered for all his classic movies. May his soul rest in peace 😭😭 I salute the leged Hrishikesh Mukerjee but sad that he was sick and alone in his last days😭😭

😭 😭 😭 I hope Hrishikesh Mukherjee rests in peace! For he knows that he will always be remembered for making the greatest movies of times such as anand and abhimaan. I hope you are listening Mr. Mukherjee, that you have done a very graceful thing for your indian community, and have honored and kept our shoulders up fr making such films that melt in our heart. I am honored today that we have had people like you that have made the greatest blockbusters of times. Thank you.
