Golmaal - what a movie.... Ramprasad Dashrath prasad srivastava.... and Lakshman prasand Dashrath prasad Shrivastava....

PELE - black pearl -.... moti kya kala hota hai 😆

Mere pujya pitaji kehthe the.. kurta uthna hi pehno jitna dhakne ke liye lagta hai.

And so beautiful songs -

Sapne mein dekha sapna..... a typically teenager or growing up age song, when dreams are on a large canvas, innocent and beautiful.

Gol maal hai bhai sab golmaal hai... seedhe raste ki yeh, tedi hi chaal hai.. seedhe raste ki yeh tedi hi chaal hai... golmaal hai bhai sab golmaal hai...

Aane wala pal, jaane wala hai.
ho sake toh isme
Zindagi bithado
pal yeh jo jaane wala hai.....

Ik baar yun mili.
masoom si kali....
oo... gilnthe hue kaha
kushwaas main chali
socha toh nahi hai
doonda toh nahi hai

Ik baar waqt se
lamha gira nahi...
wahan daastan mili
lamha kahin nahi
thodasa hasake
thodasa rulake
pal yeh bhi jaane wala hai.....

A master of comic moments, his movies represented that era when the characters on screen seemed so much like you and me.

The Professors in Chupke Chupke or the Accountant in Golmaal, the baniyan clad old style businessman Utpal Dutt in Golmaal... the brooding young man in Mili, the young and growing Guddi, enamoured by the filmworld, the Doctors and Matron in Anand, the gentle girl next door in Anand, they were just so beautiful and you could relate to them so easily.

Their dialougues are still in your head, their songs on your lips, such was his mastery over the reels.

His vision was fantastic 👏 👏 👏

Every year, every month, every day, every moment, we are losing people from the era that was. Soon they will be memory, but it is in our hands to ensure that we dont let their memory fade.

In another thread Mohini remarked that she prefers the remixes to the original. Such is the state of affairs today.

It is for the generation of today to show the era that was to the youth of today, for these are values which will never be lost, it can only help you become a better person yourself.
