1) When, if ever, is it right to break a promise? Why?

2) When, if ever, is it right to tell a lie? Why?

3) What's the difference – Imagination, White lie, and 'Black lie'?

4) Imagine you know that one of your closest friends is a compulsive liar, he/she is fun to be with, not harmful (at least you never faced it) and consider you as a great friend (at least he/she tells you so). Should you keep friendship with that person? Why?

9) Since my acts are caused by my choices and my choices caused by my beliefs and desires and my beliefs and desires are not in my direct control, how can it be that my acts are free?

10) Do you have a soul? If so, is it immortal? How do you know?

11) Is there an objective truth? Or does truth depend on what individuals or groups of individuals believe? Could everyone in the universe be mistaken about something? Why or why not?

12) Many people passed this comment to us – the people spending long hours here in IF are basically losers – don't have a 'life'! Your message to them please!

13) What is death? What is love? What is freedom? What is beauty?

14) Do societies determine what is right and wrong for their members? Can the moral standard accepted by a society be mistaken?

16) According to the Big Bang theory, the universe emerged from a "singularity" or "Quark". From "quark" an extremely dense and hot state formed. Since then, space itself has expanded with the passage of time, carrying the galaxies with it. Does that mean - "quark" is the GOD? or WAS the GOD?

18) What is a brave act? What are the "ingredients" necessary for any brave act, and which will always make an act brave when they occur together? What is the difference between brave acts and daredevil or dangerous and foolhardy acts? In other words, what are the necessary and sufficient conditions for an act to be a brave one?

19) Is it ever reasonable to believe something without having sufficient evidence for it? What exactly is evidence? And how do we know when it is "sufficient"?

20) Write an essay (minimum 750 words) – a page from the journal entry of yours – "One day in Iraq" – if possible – with a photograph by you!
