Me being a Pet lover what can I say??? My dog was spayed when he turned 6 months old. Since we did not want to breed any puppies we decided to get him spayed. But just because the dog is house dog does not mean they don't get to interact with other dogs. There are places that we could take them to where they could play with other dogs. By getting them spayed or neutered we can control un wanted pet population. Do you know how many big dogs are put to sleep every day when they don't get adopted by people??? Go visit a Humane Society-dog pound and you will come to know. It is a sad situation.

It is a responsible decision one has to make just like whether to have child when one is not ready to provide best and take care of that child. WHy bring innocent life in to this world???? Same logic applies here. Hopefully I have answered your question. Great Qs though 👏

Varsha ji Please do not misunderstand me, but would like to differ on your opinion. You got your dog spayed when it turned 6 month, because you did not want breed puppies. That means you are deciding things on your dog's behalf. Will you be able give 'advice the same' to a human being?
