On an unrelated note, does anyone know how I can record a song from a MOVIE VCD and if that song can be made IPOD compatible.

After todays treat, I am very tempted to record the video of my fav songs and put them on the ipod. Will be a useful company on long trips outside

Priya - basically you need to convert MPEG 1 files to QuickTime MOV files. You can try this freeware :AoA iPod/PSP/3GP/MP4 Converter 2.0.6

Well - I use Adobe Premiere - but that's $400!
