Most of HR/Tulsi songs are NOT easy to sing. Maybe they are easy for a professional/well trained singer, who are good at taking high notes. But, not for average people like us, who probably have a range of only a few notes close together - mostly in the middle octaves.

In fact, A LOT of the songs listed on this thread are NOT easy to sing -

E.g.
Tu hi meri shab hai (tricky melody and high notes),

Hibbaki (low to high notes again, a breathy style, Arabic lyrics interspersed in between),

Sun Sun Sun didi tere liye (relatively high pitch, being cheerful and energetic + remaining in sur is HARD),

Aa aa ashiqui (again a high pitch song with tricky melody - especially the "Tuuu meri... hai" parts),

Even songs with a simpler melody are difficult to sing in the same RANGE as the original singer or with the same level of energy/expressions.

i think that it is difficult to sing any song sung by Hariharan, Shankar
Mahadevan, or SPB -- all classically trained.

I think that many people try and falter - -when Twinkle and Vishwas (who
are good singers) tried Hai Rama - -HH nicely pointed out that it was mere
shadow of his original, and the kids and audience agreed. For Naach Baliye,
the Shankar M parts are a little classical so it seems a little difficult to me.

Hemanta's songs were often technically easy but he added a lot of depth and
feeling to the most simple songs which is why his voice is the only true voice
of romance to many of his fans.

I agree with T, a lot of songs mentioned here are NOT easy to sing. Even Uthe sab ke kadam, which might appear easy to sing going by the mukhada but its difficult to keep up with the beats of the song , especially in the antara.

I feel songs which are based on only timing and rhythm are easy to sing ....until and unless somebody has problem in that area as well....then the person should avoid singing all together.... 😉
