i'm a bit busy at the moment with exams so i don't really mind... but i'd like to find out the results soon... 1 less distraction keeping me away from working 😆

How was your relationship with your mentors?

absolutely great 😊... sunilji is a very supportive and encouraging mentor and has great knowledge of music... most of our interaction has been related to the contest... however, he is an extremely knowledgeable individual from whom i have learnt a lot from (not just about music) and someone who i have grown to respect a lot

In future if you were to choose a mentor from IF who would you pick (you dont have to mention the current mentors, someone from viewers)

it would have to be sunilji again 😊... if not sunilji... then 😕... i dunno 😕... maybe trublji, ironji or vijayji (charades) as they have provided me with valuable feedback on my songs 😊... or even sunithaji as i really value her opinion 😊... sunithaji u were saying that in future contests u want to just be part of the audience... how about being a mentor?😉

What did u think of Judges?

i think they have the most difficult job 😕... i think their judgements so far have been fair and i am sure they will continue to be 😊

both professional and friendly. sahana is direct and to the point and has a knack of picking the right songs for all of us. 👏

If i cant pick my current mentor, i'd pick kishore bhakta 😳

What did u think of Judges?

judgements are fair and their remarks are quite useful. plus, they have been tolerating me and my bakwaas for a long time. 😆

When this contest was first proposed by Abhilash, I thought I would just be a spectator. Little did I realise when i got pulled into it! You have been selected as mentor!" and when I incredulously asked him who selected me (thinking there must have been a panel of at least 2-3 members) he replied "I did".

I thought this thing would never take off. How on earth can there be an on-line music contest, I thought!? I had not much knowledge of rapidshare and turboupload. But now that this contest is on its last legs, I feel that it has exceeded my expectations.

I got to know four new people - Pradarshak, Swastika, T and Viper. Only one of them is in India. So different are our time ranges that when I have just woken up, the others are preparing to sleep!

Of course, things could have been done much better, but then, we should realise, everyone here is doing it for free, no one is getting paid or even getting a prize. Rules of the contest are still being evolved. So we are all in it for the love of music and are interacting across continents.

Many years later, I won't be surpised if this contest becomes a big one, gets sponsored by some companies etc. There might be a bigger audience too. I will always be happy to have been a part of the first edition.
